EPDM Rubber Roof

EPDM is a 100% cured single-ply roofing membrane made of a synthetic rubber Ethylene-Propylene-Diene Terpolymer. The membrane has excellent resistance to UV radiation, ozone, alkali rains and high or low temperatures, giving it a life expectancy of up to more than 50 years, even when exposed to sunlight.

Little/no maintenance is required.

Base Frame

We recommend the use of a tanalised (pressure treated) frame underneath the building. This lifts the building off the ground and allows air to circulate under the floor, helping to prevent the ingress of moisture. A frame is vital to ensure a long lasting building. A frame can be used on top of a concrete slab/pad, patio and retained chippings. The main criteria is that the surface is sited onto, needs to be firm and level. Frames are made from 3" x 2" tanalised timber and are constructed to the exact footprint size of the building and laid into position. They can be packed or shimmed to level.
